Remains of
the original Romanesque construction can be
seen in the lower part of the church, which has a surprising,
16th century, Italian high altar made of Carrara marble.
The image of the Virgin and Child is the work of the sculptor
Martínez Montañés.
The church can hold up to 400 people and may be used for
liturgical events or concerts. |
